Effective May 1, 2009, marriage license and ceremony hours are 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Monday-Friday, excluding holidays. All other public service hours are 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday-Friday,
excluding holidays.
Please note: during the below listed days and times you may experience extensive wait time (possibly up to one hour or longer) as these are our particularly busy periods of time. To expedite your visit, you may prefer to come into our office before or after the below listed busy days and times:
· Mondays and Fridays (all day)
· Monday – Friday between the hours of 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
· First business day following a holiday closure

BRANCH OFFICES - These offices issue birth, death and marriage certificate copies from 1979 forward.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Effective November 1, 2010, the only Recorder services offered at the High Desert Government Center will be the issuance of birth, death and marriage certificates. You may call for general information regarding marriage licenses and/or to schedule an appointment for a marriage ceremony, however, all marriage licenses and ceremonies will be provided at the San Bernardino location only.
The Montclair services wil be relocated to Rancho Cucamonga sometime in the first quarter of 2011.
